czar,

paid friends.... what an interesting concept! I've never actually heard that
term before, but I have thought it on my own...
guess there's nothing new under the sun...
(actually I'm sure of it, having spent 8 or 9 hours reading the BP archives, and
seeing some of my best ideas and observations in print, at least a year before
I ideated and observed them ;) )

and probably the reason you haven't been advised as I was, is because you aren't
working full time, minding your elders, managing the house, taking care of a baby,
and taking 12 hours of graduate credit, while the other deb sits around complaining
about how hard she works so where the hell is her supper?!?!.... eh?
your situation is as unique as you are, and requires advice unique to you....
since they broke the mold with a nine pound hammer when they made you, I'm sure ;)

the guy who was putting his kids thru college/hiring domestic help with my $$$ was
my (now former) rheumatologist... who told me, after several (6) months of testing,
that I was not suffering from any known medical condition that he was aware of, but
that there was a name for my affliction -- "jewish princess syndrome"....
do they have that out there too, or only here in the boonies of middle america?
fortunately, a doctor I consulted later WAS aware of a known medical condition that
was affecting me ;)
the only time I've ever been glad to be ill -- it beats hell out of being crazy...

deb "still wary after all these years ;) "
