I agree w/ you.
If it don't need fixin then the fixers would probably not be busy fixing it.
Tho it might very well need fixin later. Or sooner than later.
A good design is to figure it will likely need fixin sometime.
Even if only sharpening the edge of the axe or replacing the handle.
