"At the heart
of addiction in humans is learning that essential parts of the self are
bad/unlovable/unsuitable for survival. " How about our cousins the rats who
so clearly show addiction to many substances? Did they have unloving
parents? Being selfaware is a job we all face. I'd watch out for more
baloney in this book
