Have any of y'all had the occasion to work with soapstone? A neighbor
has built himself an absoultely gorgeous kitchen sink out of soapstone
and is puzzling over sealers. He is trying mineral oil, but with all
the soapy water, the mineral oil just doesn't last long and the
appearance becomes very uneven. Letting the soapstone just be soapstone
and do whatever it wants to do may be best course to take, but any
opinions, thoughts, or experiences regarding sealing soapstone will be
passed along. Thanks.
