Hello, all!

You may recall about a month ago or so that I was
looking for any experiences with/knowledge of appeal
periods prior to getting permits for cases that have
gone through design review, specifically having appeal
periods expire before the applicant can receive their
permit.

Well, the case went to our Planning Commission, which
accepted our recommendation that people wait until
appeal periods have expired before people can obtain
their permits (among other more basic and less issue-y
changes). Last night I presented the case to City
Council, who then passed the ordinance, no problem.
Now we just have to tackle the Building Code so that it
agrees with the revised Zoning Code!

My thanks to Ralph, Heidi and Dennis who piped in with
their comments.
