I believe there was a big fight recently over Howdy Doody;and he went down for the big cash...
like Ralph; I never held to much truck for Howdy;Its my guess that Clarabelle had much more spiritual influence over the generation as a whole along with Moe Larry and Curly as cultural giants.Current T.V shows a group of smiling monks sitting on a mountain top in Tibet admiring a hand held t.v  all chuckling nuk-nuk-nuk..to stooge dharma...Best Michael
