reminds me of when my daughter was a baby, I was in grad school, and working
as well as running a house and minding my 90-something grandmother and
great-aunt...

I went to the counsellor for a while, because "some people" kept complaining I was
moody and hard to get along with    ;)
that cost about $65/hour back then, and after I'd been going for 6 or 7 weeks,
the counsellor looked at me and said, totally seriously deadpan:

"What you really ought to do is take the $65/wk you are paying me, and hire a
cleaning person to come in... matter of fact, that will probably SAVE you about
$20/wk. and you could use that to go out to eat every once in a while--  that ought
to take care of about 90% of your problems."

he was pretty much right, too   ;)
