Was the inquirer seeking a company? If so, I would suggest Frank Myroncuk and
Sons, Inc. They are located in New Egypt, NJ and their toll free number is
1-800-566-6846. We used them several years ago to move a early 19th century
20'x40' one room schoolhouse that was about to be demolished by a McMansion
development company. We found them right out of the yellow pages but were
very happy with their work. They came when promised and did what they
promised for the amount they promised and did it without any problems. We
moved the building in one piece about 5 miles up the road. The mover said he
would give us a break since we were non-profit. The cost was under $10,000
for the prep and move. The new foundation was done by others. The main route
was along a county road so the road department helped by trimming trees in
advance of the move. There were probably over 100 wires crossing the route.
The phone and electric companies helped pro bono as did the local police
department since sections of road had to be closed to traffic temporarily.
The movers loaded the building very low so some wires could be raised over the
single story plus building while others were laid down on the road for the
transport to cross over.

Our move was in southern Somerset County, NJ, right around the corner from
Jamesburg, so it should be in the movers "work area". Has the inquirer heard
the "better to leave it in place to preserve its historic character" lecture.
They need to know the significance of their plans before they make a final
decision.

I would be happy to discuss in more detail off list if you wish.
