Agreed, possibly... but in this case the bark would not have been
removed by the Hessians and therefore the insect attractive little hut
has bark.
When we first went there on a warm sunny day to look at removing the old
logs there was the most amazing assortment of different types of bees &
wasps that I have ever seen.
This last week all of the wood, some of it infested with powder post
beetle & some w/ termites, with the exception of the new cedar was
sprayed twice over with borates.
