Dear Schmutzfreund,

Do you mean de-patinate?  Like with 5000 gallons of Brasso?  Maybe your
doormen and porters could do it in their spare time, using boatswain's
chairs.  Actually, I cleaned a bunch of bronze/brass hardware using ketchup
in a ziploc (ADVERTISEMENT!) bag, and it worked very well.

And what kind of brick?  If it looks like the NYAC brick, you may have big
problems, since for some unknown reason neither the 1929 NYAC brick nor the
[date unknown to me] Selwyn [?] Theater brick cleaned very well.

Nobody said it was going to be easy.
