Cross-post from another list. Somehow this query just made me think of BP.

pertaining to New York State history.)

Does anyone know the name of the Brooklyn tavern/bar
that was purchased after WWII by a person of Norwegian origin.
This owner was a former member of the 99th Battalion Separate.
The bar inside was circular.

Am looking for the name of the owner and the name of the
establishment, or any information about them.

Thanks.
