I was in a cigar club recently for a snooker match; the interior was darkened
for the match showing walls of gilded mirrors and polished "rosewood" or so
the hat check girl told me.While the match labored on ; Itook the oppurtnity
to adjust my tie in one of the mirrors and investigate the "rosewood" as it
looked too good for this  cigar club of neer -do-wells ; and low lifes in
their rental tuxes and dates with mall hair and cheap perfume.....and upon
further investigation  the rosewood turned out to be  piranah (sp) board red
stained  and finished with a high  french polish.Throw in the low lighting;
and Viola..rosewood...but hey the cigars were great...M
