Speaking of Stainless Steel and restoration, I just turned on the wrong
element on the stove, and my favourite (and expensive) large stainless
steel/copper laminate soup pot was sitting on it, dry. It got pretty hot!
Beyond hot! Before I noticed! Now, cool again, the inside has as many
colours as a peacock's tail. It there any way to make it look like a
stainless steel pot again instead of a rainbow? Both inside and outside
of the bottom now look more like a copper pot.
