Mary,

I lived in Corvallis and on the reservation at Warm Springs for a while. 
Drove over the Cascades frm Corvallis to Bend to Madras to Warm Springs 
in January w/ a '46 Chevy PU that I had. Exchanged that for a beat up 
Harley and a baby goat. Spent the winter hitching back n' forth from 
there to Portland. Long story. Coulda easily staid there and never left.
