As per the NY Times Metro Section today: Alastair Duncan, an expert on
Tiffany stained glass, was convicted yesterday of conspiring with a Queens
grave robber and a Bronx antique dealer to steal rare stained-glass windows
from cemetery mausoleums and resell them overseas. Mr. Duncan faces up to 35
years in prison.

Unsubstantiated speculation, possibly a contemporary NY fiction worthy of
Balzac, is that Mr. Duncan was entrapped by the two career criminals at the
covert behest of another stained glass expert with the intent of reducing
market pressures in the dealing of stolen Tiffany windows.
