Subject: carriage step

Hi all,

I have a very odd request. Recently a friend of mine had her carriage step
stolen. It was original to the house, made of concrete with inlaid tiles
with the original owners name, ca. 1895. It is covered by an insurance
rider. I sent her looking at architectural salvage dealers in Houston and
on the internet, and she has not found and dealers. She needs to get a
price for her insurance. My next idea was to send her to ornamental
concrete fabricators and tombstone carvers, but this would be for a
reproduction and would not consider the age value of the piece. Any ideas?
