I have been contacted by real estate group in California doing some work
on a building which has a 1940s "Motorstair" escalator they cannot use it
(no longer operable and not up to code), but do not want to simply throw
it away. I have additional information and some photographs - if anyone
has any ideas on where this escalator might find a good home please contact me
off-list - thanks!
