If Barney is still in business he has been doing cast iron work in NYC longer
than some of us have been breathing. If he is not in business then good luck.
Suggest you contact either Robinson Iron or Historical Arts & Casting and ask
who they recommend. If it is a small project, and not an entire facade,
contact Dan George or Mark Gibian at Goldenrod Ironworks, 203 Grand Street,
Brooklyn, NY, 718-782-5678. Dan & Mark are highly skilled metal sculptors who
make a living muddling with architectural metalwork. If you need cheap and
poorly done then don't call them, use the Blue Book.
