I looked at quite a few of the pictures AND, while those doors and windows
may not be original in design and execution, they do seem to be doing the
job doors and windows were designed to do--keep out the cold, wet and wild
critters.  Who knows, maybe those are the styles the folks living in those
houses chose?  That is if anyone IS living in those houses.

From what I could see there are more serious problems than the style and
construction of the doors.  In one picture there were empty meter sockets
indicating no power to the place.  And a gas line that appeared to be just
dangling in mid air.

I doubt the place will ever get back to the way it was, and maybe that's a
good thing--I don't know.  Ruth
