Thanks for the lead, John, I may have to look into it.  I would guess that these are glass and not crystal?

I know the ones that Crown City sells and they are beautiful.  For my clients
w/ a limited budget, I get them for less than $20/pr from Wm. A. Kilian
Hardware in Philadelphia: [log in to unmask]

They also sell Baldwin passage latches that accept a knob spindle.

Not accurate historical reproduction, but effective and quite nice.
