I have often asked buoyant Red Sox fans in early June which they find more
humiliating: Getting buried from Day 1 like 1998, or imploding in Games 6 &
7 like 1986.

The glass is not half empty. The glass is not half full. It's just a
question of when the glass is going to spill.
