Mike-

When I make beer I clarify it with gypsum. Traditional tried and true
method!

Twybil<

Gypsum was also used in the thick shakes of an internationally known
fast-food hamburger chain (IFFHC?). YUM!

The ability of gypsum to absorb impurities was also the excuse thy gave me
for why it wasn't bad for me to breathe the dust for 8 hours a day for the
next 30 years. Of course, I never did get ANY explanation about the
asbestos that was constantly flying around in the plant.
