In the summer, on Martha's Vineyard, I live on a 1.5 mile dirt road. Some
type-A's drive as fast as they can, treating every bend as an obstacle, every
crest as a jump-off ramp, every caterpillar as a target.

I have posted a two-part sign. lst panel: "If you can't slow down on this
beautiful road..." 2nd panel, 200 feet later: "...why did you come here at
all?"

On a practical basis, I can't say that it does or doesn't work - except that
someone keeps ripping down the second panel.
