Heidi,

I meant nothing rude against govt. workers in general or as a stereotype...
in fact, the NYC experience of the F-storm seems in retrospect a reliving of
the stereotypical storm of the century -- nothing much to talk about here, so
make up something quick. CNN neglected to show us NYC employees doing public
service. The few interviews I heard on local radio of city employees would
not lead anyone to believe that they were altruists. Having spent 6 hours on
the road yesterday in commuiting mode with 2 hrs. of real work time I can
sympathize with the agony of roadwork. Possibly NJ breeds a more
compassionate human?
