Rambler was originally built by Nash, they went to AMC about 1059.  The
Metropolitan was a really cute little car.  However it couldn't compete
with the Vespa which got about 60 miles to the gallon.  Think of it, when
gas was 21 cents a gallon you could go for a few weeks on a dollars worth
of gas.  Ruth
