O TODAY'S GOLD COASTS AND TOMORROW'S ...? BOAT TOUR

Please join the Metropolitan Waterfront Alliance on a cruise to survey
waterfront issues and opportunities along the Hudson River and East River
"Gold Coasts" of today and tomorrow.

Date: Wednesday, May 24, 2000
Time: 10:45 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

What are the lessons from more than a decade of redevelopment on the Hudson
River waterfront that we should remember as the East River and Upper Bay
waterfront begins to boom? Activists, developers and public officials from
around the Harbor and many different perspectives will share their
experiences and opinions. The cruise will also include plenty of time to
network and discuss the issues with colleagues.

At the end of the cruise, participants will have the option to visit the new
Hudson-Bergen Light Rail System developed to link New Jersey's waterfront
communities with each other and with cross-river ferry service. The two
final stops will be Jersey City (Colgate) and World Financial Center.

Please note there is Limited Space Available. RSVP by Friday, May 19th.
e-mail [log in to unmask], and let us know whether you'd like to stay for
the Light Rail Tour. We look forward to seeing you!
