I see the point that if I think there is not enough content
on this list, all I have to do is supply it.

Also, I went back and counted up my contributions,
since joining in April 1998. About 9 of them.
Does that meet the minimum annual requirement?

But the ones that got the most reaction were in 1998:
why don't we preserve? (July)
where I introduced you to Louie the roofer who will
relieve you of your tile roof and put on a nice inexpensive roll roof;
and gas stations (October) -- that was the Pure Oil cottage
in Evanston that was demolished because the local
preservation group wanted to think it over for a couple of years.
Also explained what Chillicothe means.

This year the only time I chimed in was to help to identify Wetmore.
In March there were two things I wanted to chime in on,
but I cleverly deleted all the digests for March and April.
I wanted to tell you all about two wonderful but little-known books,
and I forget what the other thing was. Another senior moment.
