Negatory on cast zinc = white bronze.  I don't remember what the actual alloy
is that's called white bronze, but it ain't cast zinc.  No doubt the techno
geeks (i.e., people with decent references for the period, who know howm to
read) will have it at the tip of their thesauruses.
