From Sydney, Australia; and the construction of spires on St Mary's Cathedral, 1999-2000:

"The work on these spires shall be carried out only by banker masons with at least 100 years experience with Sydney sandstone.  All masons shall produce their qualifications for inspection prior to commencing on site, and at any time when requested by the Superintendent."

"All work shall be carried out in full accordance with WorkCover [equivalent to OSHA] guidelines.  No individual shall lift weights greater than 16kg [33lb].  All persons ascending the highclimbing platforms shall wear full body harnesses in accordance with AS1891.1 connected by shock-absorbing lanyards in accordance with AS1891.2 to the work platforms which shall be constructed in accordance with AS1627."

PS  At least the spires are being constructed out of sandstone!
