Unable to answer the question, but able to add fire to the fuel.
It is impossible to exist in NY working out on the streets in
construction without there being an omnipresence of sex.
Actually, any large city and on occasion even the small town. But there
is nothing quite like NY for exhibition of flesh and libido out on the
street.
We had a 7th Day Adventist employee who was not allowed to look at or
comment on the merchandise. No innocent shopping was allowed.
Goes along with the interpretation that Jesus said (and our employee was
named Jesus but he was not a Jew) if you even look at a woman and think
sex you are commiting adultery. Which did not fit well with the belief
that if you are not looking then you must be dead.
And if you are not admitting that you are looking then you must be
dishonest. [There must be a corollary between a naughty mind and a
healthy one.]
As a result, and on Jesus' behalf and much to his relief, we began
making references to interesting architectural elements.
The architecture of NY, as Mr. Gray can attest, is truly varied and
amazing and full of human history.
For those who believe that depravity is a mind in the gutter they need
only look up to the overhanging cornices.
