Try cleaning them with a non-ionic detergent (FELS NAPTHA type) and a stiff
bristle brush - not metal bristles. A little salt may return when the water
evaporates. You casn lay them flat and do it with a long-handled brush. Rinse
well. Commendations for recycling them. Good luck.
