    Listening to "on the media" @ NPR several weeks ago-
commentator claims that pornography has always been the dominant driving force in
mass media growth-
from erotic wood block prints, to porno being the 2nd thing off of Gutenbergs
press to, the Popeye & Betty Boop in Flagrante cartoons to the present day-
his claim being that the speed and facility of the internet was driven by the
size of porn pics and movies--
28k modems are fine if we're simply sending text notes...

After watching Matrix II w/ my 8yr old I'm liable to agree...
