A "MEDIA" NOTE TO THE RIT COMMUNITY:


GOOD NEWS -- RIT made the NBC docket of college commencement clips to be
aired tomorrow, Friday, June 6, on the "NBC Nightly News," 6:30-7 p.m., TV
10.

It's unknown what part of RIT-prepared footage NBC will use: it could be a
scene with Golisano College candidates tossing their caps into the air, or
families celebrating with hugs, or Sen. Schumer's or Dr. Simone's speech ...
or it could be graduation line-ups under umbrellas.

Enjoy the "media moment" as RIT shares national news time with other schools
around the nation!

(Bear in mind that the NBC graduation story could be replaced by breaking
news; RIT's segment could be only a few seconds in length; and it could be
cut out for any reason at the last minute.)
