Ask him what the difference is between limestone & travertine? And what
is the difference from marble? How is it related to baking soda and lime
putty?
I know a church that has a big chunk that fell out of it... but they may
need to hold it for evidence.
Suggest you call a quarrier/supplier & ask them for a sample. They are
used to having nice pieces & shipping them.
Central Texas Cordoba is pretty neat full of occlusions.
You can also go to your local agricultural yard & ask for a bag of it in
gravel form.
It comes in light tan, tan and gray. Lime putty & cement is made out of
it... check out Portland cement kilns and natural cements.
Suggest you check into lime burns.
