Ahhhhh, "Smoosh",,, I know that one! Many thanks.

In the architecture school at Cornell there was a constantly cheerful design

professor who took it as his duty to teach us rendering techniques for
presentations (as he seemed to have little to offer in design critiques).
Pastel chalk was the love of his life, and he was always saying, "Just
smoosh it." or "Just smoosh it a bit more." An especially kindly gentleman

with no other axe to grind in life, the students affectionately knew him
behind his back as Smoosh Henderson. "Here comes Smoosh!" would be
whispered down the line of desks in preparation for a simplistic critique
when he was seen entering the drafting room.
