     "I am working on an architectural history of my church, Sacred Heart
     in South Camden, which was designed by Jeremiah O'Rourke in 1885.
     O'Rourke (1833-1915) was a Newark architect who had a number of
     commissions for the Roman Catholic Diocese of Newark, which at one
     time encompassed all of New Jersey. One of his more famous works in
     Sacred Heart Cathedral, now Basilica, in Newark.

     Part of my project involves preparing general floor plans and
     elevations for my church. I am wondering if O'Rourke, or his firm,
     left blueprints of his projects at some library or repository for
     posterity. I have checked the Seton Hall archives, and contacted the
     Diocese of Newark and Camden, and have turned up nothing. Does anyone
     know where his materials may have gone?"

     I will be happy to post this on the SAH listserv, which has been very
     helpful on this kind of query in the past, if Heidi can give me an
     address they can reply to.

     I assume he has already checked the Withey book on American Architects
     Deceased and the Avery Index.
