Drew, thanks for the encouragement. It is *extremely* difficult for me to let
go of the practical. My wife, who has exception insight in such matters,
suggests that I will return to being an artist, as I was when I was a young
man. (Yikes! That comments makes me sound like an old man.) Even this little
bit of writing is inspired by the practical need to help people understand why
they feel the way they do about old buildings.

Letting go of the guard rail seems so risky. You have to keep your own
balance. You might go down. But the freedom is exciting! Anything might
happen.
