Isadore Rosen & Sons was a masonry/general contractor active in the 1960's -
the strange "I+R" monogram in the 1962 white brick apartment building at the
southeast corner of 84th & Madison was put there as a surprise tribute by his
workers. (The building was designed by Horace Ginsbern for the developer
Philip Resnick.)

The firm is not listed in the present "blue book"; does anyone know of a way
to contact his sons, at least one of whom ("Philip") is in the real estate
business.
