Nope, the Bell & Howell tape (really a "wire") was used to repair the
ring-counter over the pool table. The last time I was in Verdigre I did duck
into Felix's for beer and the pool table and ring-counter were still there.
Felix's tavern is a neat place. It is one of those WWII surplus Quonsit
huts, which are now being studied apparently for their architectural
significance.
