A Google of "plywood shed in Kabul" presented me with the following (et al):

www.outdoorsstoragesheds.com
www.cursor.org/stories/kabul.html
An offer to buy plywood sheds from Target.com

but nothing about a young fellow sitting in a plywood shed in Kabul.
So, I'm gonna guess you didn't find him via Google.
