Funny you should mention ex-Grumman engineers; my first job in the heritage
field was working in West Babylon for a couple of them. Back in the early
70's, they invented the first really large vacuum hot tables for
conservation and rebacking of large paintings. I was hauled off the shop
floor (mostly just sweeping it anyway) to assist with a study of artifact
storage conditions at the Museum Village of Orange County. So, how'd I get
from L.I. to YT, you might ask. Looong story.

                Mary,

What an interesting idea. :-) Birth of an agribusiness. Not
exactly cuddly
animals. Not much can be done w/ the fur and little meat to
speak of. I know.
Hedge hog dairy. Hedge hog yogurt! Possibly I can hire an
ex-Grumman engineer
to help invent and patent the first automatic hedge hog
milker. Another FIRST
                for Long Island.
