But Ralph, wouldn't it have been less expensive to move house? Then you
would have found the originals and lots of other things you have stashed
away for safe keeping and never found. That's what happened to me, I found
a lot of stuff I never knew I was looking for, including what I can only
assume were Christmas presents for one of the boys when about 3 yrs old. I
haven't had a 3 yr old for 12 years. Moving is FUN, moving is FUN, moving
is FUN--if I say it often enough maybe I'll believe it. Ruth

Decided that it wasn't worth spending more time looking all over the goddam
house for, and that I should see if replacement parts are available through
my personal nemesis, eBay. Surprise, surprise, I found somebody to sell me
4 replacement cords for the huge sum of $3 each, plus shipping. This way
Frank will have to shut up about me losing the goddam cords, I won't have
to kick myself too hard when they show up in a week or 2 (or 20 years),
and I got to spend MORE time (and money!) on eBay.

Is this the best of all possible worlds, or what?
