Historic Radio Antennas

Is anyone aware of any radio antennas that have received historic designation?
Is there adaptive re-use of radio antennas?
Have there been any local grassroots movements to save a favored radio
antenna?
Has there been any hunger strikes intended to stop the demolition of a radio
antenna?
My inquiry relates to Gabriel Orgrease considering taking on a job replacing
lightbulbs in radio antennas and his wanting to know the position of
preservationists toward this career before he makes a decision.

I'd post this on PL but I lost the key to entry.
Any assitance would be appreciated.
