Thank you Michael...now, you wanted that check made out to Cash Who?
>I will let Michael Edison(on list) tell you what his is .<
Custom 45 uses Portland cement as the primary binder, formulated in a wide
range of design mixes of different strengths, particle sizes and aggregate
compositions so that we can match the stone or masonry we are repairing as
closely as possible. So the limestone patch, for example, contains a great
deal of crushed limestone and has a compressive strength and absorption
similar to the ASTM requirements for limestone building stone. We also
incorporate ceramic microballoons to keep density down. This facilitates
build up and reduces stress on the bondline.
A proprietary acrylic latex cement modifier is used instead of water. This
produces lower shrinkage than competitve mortars, lower modulus of
elasticity (stiffness) for better stress relief, and MUCH higher bond
strength.
Sorry if this sounds too much like a commercial. I could have gone on about
this far longer (and often do).
Mike E.
