Around here dumplings are "boiled bread" and they are nothing like bagels.
Do you mean to tell me some people use rendered chicken fat like butter???

Thanks for the explanation of The Bronx.  Now how about the other four?
parts of NYC?  I can't think what they are called and I think there are
five but I'm not sure.  Brain fart, at my age I'm entitled.  Ruth
