I am psyched!!! I lived in Lexington KY for several years before
moving back to NYC. The prettiest place I've called home.

Not only is Shaker Village a place of soul-thrilling beauty --
natural and Shaker-built -- it is also a fantastic interpretive
museum. They do a lot of historical re-enactments during the summer
-- I remember attending a "service" at the church, where costumed
actors sang and dance as the Shakers would on Sundays. Be sure to
check the website for scheduled events. And the drive to get there is
gorgeous, too.

P.S. Old Woodford is my sippin' bourbon of choice.
