Ken:

After participating at a masonry preservation seminar in Denver last year
with Norman, I was getting some public speaking tips from him over Sushi.  I
was flying back to Switzerland, he to NY. The cow reference was a metaphor
for the comfort he recieved from being in an urban environment.
