What I want to know is, Where is "Cocker?" that this spaniel comes from? I
don't think they have hollow hair though but maybe the home owner had a pet
that he wanted immortalized by putting his hair in the plaster. Around
here the hair of choice apparently was horse hair as it is always refered
to as "horse hair plaster." Better use for horse hair than making
furniture upholstery. If you ever had to sit still on a horse hair couch
you know what I mean.

As to lime, we got the lime on the garden before snow came. I don't know
much about it, whether it would have made good plaster or not, only thing
hubby asked was if it was "mag" lime. It is, and it'll make the carrots
sweeter and get rid of the moss. Ruth
