Reminds me of being called out to see if I could remove the very
prominent black bootprints from the undersides of GFRC limestone soffits
on a new building. The soffits were about 20' up in the air and there
was no way in hell anyone had been walking around upside-down there...
which goes to that the soffits had to have been walked on and imprinted
before they were installed. What ever happened to people using their
eyes and their brains? It was a disgusting task to remove black oil from
masonry and make it look good and with no easy reward, I gave them a
hefty price that was not ameniable to discussion, then I walked away.
