Am I to understand that current tract housing is NOT designed by an
architect?  I'm pretty sure that the new owners of the homes are not the
real designers (excluding the small decision of how many bathrooms they
want!).

Is you is or is you isn't ascribing current tract housing to Artichokes?
Cause the percentage of residential work that flows from the shining elite
brows of Architects is near the 0 end of the scale.
